Consumer Data Policy
The Food Patrol online order form consists of a number of fields that you are asked to fill in. Some of them are compulsory, others optional. The fields are:
- Your name (*)
- Email address (*)
- Telephone number (*)
- Delivery address (*)
All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. The Food Patrol stores the information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unsolicited information.
If you want to pay with a credit card, you have to give the following information:
- Credit card verification
- Credit card number
- Expiry date of credit card
- Full name
The credit card information is sent directly to our payment provider (Eway) who processes your order. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by The Food Patrol or Eway, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. The transaction has a very high level of security as described in the Transaction Security Capabilities and Policies section below.
Transaction Security Capabilities And Policies
Your credit card details are sent directly to The Food Patrol's payment provider Eway (visit www.eway.com.au for more information) over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction. The payments are deposited by The Food Patrols authorised customer service staff. Other Food Patrol employees do not have access to Eway's transaction management system. This is only valid for products ordered directly from The Food Patrol.
Your contact information is sent to The Food Patrol's server over an unencrypted connection and forwarded to our authorised customer service staff.
